Welcome to the Nina Franklin fund Bristol-Palestine Education Link

The Nina Franklin Fund was launched in Bristol in 2020 to respect the wishes and memory of our friend and comrade Nina Franklin. Since then almost £40,000 has been raised to support the work of the Hebron International Resources Network in Palestine: https://hirn.wordpress.com/organisation/

The fund provides material solidarity to Palestine with school furniture, educational resources, computers, a garden, transport and new school rooms for children living in the illegally occupied West Bank lands. Schools in the West Bank are under constant threat of demolition and the need for your support is growing.  We hope you can support the fund with regular donations.  All donations are made directly to the Amos Trust.

Thank you for your interest and support. Please Check back regularly for activities and events

Nina Franklin Fund’s first visit to Palestine Part 1

Firstly, I’d like to thank you for your patience whilst I got together some words to reflect my time and experience in Palestine. It wasn’t easy. I’d like to thank HIRN and the amazing comrades on the ground in Hebron for welcoming and hosting me (Ahlan Wa Sachlan!) with such love. I am ever grateful…

Ongoing support

Thank you to everyone that has donated this year and kept the memory of Nina alive by supporting the Palestinian people especially teachers and children. We’ve had a turbulent year, the recent school destruction has been tough for all of us. A highlight of the year has certainly been having the amazing Nina Franklin Fund…

The Nina Franklin Fund is angered and disheartened regarding the most recent demolition orders placed on the schools in Massafer Yatta, the Fund and it’s donors have worked extremely hard to get to where we are now. The threat of violence towards children in aid of a “nice view for the settlements” on the land where a nursery and school stand is an atrocity. Please keep up to date with this fund or set up your own event with our help if needed so we can continue this work and children and young people have ongoing access to an education.
